Yami Gautam was born on 28th November 1988 in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, India. She is daughter of Mukesh Gautam and Anjali Gautam. Her father is working as an coordinator in zee news channel and her mother is an houswife. In siblings she has one sister named Surilie Gautam. After completing her schooling she enrolled in college to study law but she drop it later because she want to start her career in acting. She later moved to mumbai and pursue her training in acting. She later got signed in television serial “Chand Ke Paar Chalo” from where her career begin to shine.
